Timothy W. Mizerowski

Timothy W. Mizerowski is the principal shareholder and Senior Partner of Mizerowski Thon & Parker P.C. In practice since 1990, he specializes in insurance and commercial litigation matters. Mr. Mizerowski’s extensive insurance defense litigation experience includes first- and third-party automobile litigation, premises liability claims, general negligence claims, insurance coverage disputes and subrogation matters. Mr. Mizerowski regularly conducts examinations under oath and works with insurance carriers’ special investigation units to uncover fraudulent insurance claims.
Mr. Mizerowski has tried to verdict numerous cases involving heavy truck, automobile and amusement park accidents, as well as claims before the Worker’s Compensation Board of Magistrates. He also counsels corporate clients with their diverse needs.
Receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan in 1987, Mr. Mizerowski earned his J.D., cum laude, from the Detroit College of Law in 1990. While at the Detroit College of Law, he received the American Jurisprudence Award for Corporations and was awarded the Manufacturer’s National Bank Scholarship for outstanding legal scholarship.
Mr. Mizerowski regularly acts as a teacher and trainer to numerous regional and national insurance companies and corporations, lecturing on new developments in the Michigan No-Fault Law and Worker’s Compensation law. He served as a lecturer at the National Business Institute’s Michigan Labor and Employment Law Seminar and the Michigan Risk and Insurance Managers Annual Meeting.
Mr. Mizerowski has had several reported decisions in the Michigan Court of Appeals Reporter including Auto Owners v Perry, 223 Mich App 1 (1997) and Auto Owners v Michigan Mutual, et al., 223 Mich App 205 (1997).
