Prior to practicing law, Mr. Thon worked with several large companies in the transportation and logistics industry, learning the “ins and outs” of federal regulations affecting interstate motor carriers. Mr. Thon began his legal career practicing in a prominent plaintiff’s auto negligence litigation firm, becoming well versed in Michigan’s first- and third party auto laws while assisting in litigation involving catastrophic truck accidents. This experience offers our clients a unique perspective in handling and defending no fault, uninsured motorist, and bodily injury claims. It has also given Mr. Thon the opportunity to serve as a frequent guest speaker at truck safety seminars and conventions, while he develops Mizerowski Thon & Parker transportation and logistics law department, which provides services to both large and small interstate motor carriers.
